Conspiracy under cover. The third film “28 Days Later” franchise.. Originally, the sequel continued with the film’s title motif placed on the timeline and set "28 months later" However, since so much time has passed since our last return to Earth in 2007 (28 weeks later), it was deemed more appropriate to title the film “28 Years Later”.
